Singer/Author Jonathan Taylor :
'The truth cannot be silenced. Thousands of copies already downloaded.' I believe that readers of these memoirs are likely to find them vile and repulsive, reasons that I question the purpose of publishing it. Do we indulge the psychopath? To place him upon a pedestal where he can attain fame, through his killings? Is this what he wants, a pulpit of hate from which to preach? Meat – Memoirs of A Psychopath ‘The Definitive Edition’, is truly a ‘world first’ in contemporary literature. Each book contained inside is written by the ‘characters’ within. Each work is intentionally written in a quite specific and separate genre. This publication, ‘The Definitive Edition 2015’, contains eight separate and uniquely identifiable works. It includes an accompanying musical soundtrack: 1:40 minutes and additional audio book.

Singer Zaena Morisho:
Zaena Morisho who is currently based in Los Angeles, is a singer-songwriter, recording artist, and performer who was born in the DR Congo and raised in Houston Texas. Zaena sings in English, Swahili, Lingala, Nyaja, Shona, and some French. Zaena released her debut Pop-Afro Pop album “Break the Surface” in 2012 and followed that up, toward the end of 2014, with the 6-track Ep, “You Don’t Know”. Her hit song “Ur Love”, has received over 1 million views on Youtube
Recently, several pop singers from across the pond have been making it in the US. The first song I heard by Zaena, “Gimme All Your Love”, is what initially piqued my interest. But then I realized that she has this twisted little edge that makes her much more mysterious than many of the usual female dance music artists. She adds a layer of African complexity to solid and enjoyable dance/pop music
Running through each track, at times I imagine a joyous harlequin is singing, at times I see a femme fatale, at times I hear the vulnerable Zaena come out, but at the end of the day Zaena Morisho simply owns each song. She possesses such confidence, that she’s unafraid to play around with her voice, her image, as well as music styles. And she also has a natural swagger that enables her to pull off even some of the more unusual choices on the album
As for music styles on “You Don’t Know”-everything is in the pop/dance idiom with undeniable, exotic African influences, which is actually quite fresh sounding, in a music market full of people who are attempting similar things. It’s more subtle and hypnotic than most mainstream music -yet much more hard-hitting and catchy than a lot of indie pop-dance artists.
At the end of the day, this is simply a great pop-dance record that offers something different and there is no doubt that Zaena Morisho is one to be watched (literally too, as she is pure eye-candy).
normally I scoff at people, who try to predict the next big thing, but I can’t help but hear Zaena and think –“this is the future”. She’s got the skills, confidence and most importantly she seems to have the determination to stand out.
The highlight tracks are obviously the danceable club bangers “Gimme All Your Love” and “Play My Song”, but I particularly liked the mid-tempo bump of “Batteries” and the slow burner “Until The Sky Falls”.
Author KJ Waters :
I never really wanted to be a writer. I've always had a great imagination, but writing was not easy. It wasn't until I completed my master's degree where I was forced to write paper after paper and I realized I actually enjoyed it. All of my professional jobs have been writing in some form, either brochures, contracts, newsletters, marketing materials or proposals. So why not do something I created for fun?
In the squillion hours spent driving from Florida to Maine for a family vacation I realized I had a great idea for a novel. That is where I began my journey as an author. I'm hoping to complete book one by hurricane season this year. Book 2 and 3 are already in the works and I hope to have them out in the next year, if the kids will let me get something done!

Author Martin Lastrapes:
His name is Martin Lastrapes and he is a novelist. My debut novel, Inside the Outside won the Grand Prize in the 2012 Paris Book Festival.
He grew up in the Inland Empire, an eclectic region of Southern California with a rich history that nobody knows about, including most of the people who live there.
Despite growing up in the region that birthed the Hell’s Angels, housed the first McDonald’s restaurant and is one of the foremost manufacturers and suppliers of crystal meth, I spent the great majority of my childhood watching professional wrestling and reading comic books—that is, of course, when I wasn't busy avoiding homework or wondering when I should begin my evolution of becoming Batman.
In 2003, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English/Creative Writing and in 2006 I earned a Master’s Degree in Composition, both from California State University, San Bernardino. Since then, I've happily parlayed my academic résumé into a career as an English professor.
His writing has been published in various literary journals and websites, such as The Pacific Review and L.A. Voice. In 2004, I won awards for my short fiction from the Cal Poly Writer’s Conference, as well as the California Writer’s Club. We spoke with him about his new book The Vampire , The Hunter and The Girl and his wonderful , insightful and very often funny podcast .

Singer Diana Barash:
Born in Eastern Europe in the midst of the crumbling rule of the Soviet Union, Diana had begun her classical music training at the age of seven. Soon thereafter, she set out on the long trek across the world, escaping the suffocating hand of the government-ruled state. Along her travels, Diana absorbed many cultures into her music and was shaped by multicultural beats as well as more traditional genres, such as Jazz, R&B and Pop.
A versatile performer, Diana begun performing on stage at age 16 and continues to entice us with her voice. She has settled, in the Los Angeles area, where she continues to embrace her long love for composing and singing. Diana writes all of her own music, lyrics, instrumentals, and soundtracks.
Diana's debut album, "Miracle of Love", was released in November, 2013. Several tracks were co-written in collaboration with renowned jazz pianist and composer, Sunnie Paxson. While Diana can be classified as pop artist, her soulful singing style is multifaceted and her lyrics are full of poignant message of love, hope, empowerment and perseverance.
She conveys her message through opening her heart to an unsuspecting bystander and speaking the unabashed truth. Her instrumentals are both tender and powerful at the same time. Soft but determined, her voice envelopes the listener in the crushed velvet that is her heart and soul, while delivering the powerful message to live one's life, dare not to follow and, to be different and make a difference!
Author Jeff Lane :
I met acclaimed author Jeff Lane through another Amused Now Featured Artist, filmmaker Aaron Thomas. Jeff and Aaron are working on a film project based on Jeff’s best-selling book This Paper World, the story of how 18-year-old Jim Hunt confronts his destiny.
When I asked how he and Aaron met, Jeff explained that Aaron reached out to him after hearing This Paper World podcast as a serialized audiobook. Aaron was listening to the book and fell in love with it. The two started communicating via email. When Jeff noticed that Aaron was a filmmaker, he checked out Aaron’s work. “It just kindda blew my mind. Here’s this very talented filmmaker who likes my art.”
The two stayed in touch and, eventually, Aaron said, “I want to do something with this book” and they’ve been working on the film ever since. I’ve seen a few of the trailers and the finished film should be fabulous.
Jeff studied Music and Video Business at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. He worked 2nd shift in a bank call center. Jeff claims he wrote This Paper World to stave off boredom while working at the bank, so I asked him, “When did you decide to become an author?” At the time, Jeff worked at night and his wife worked during the day, so one day he went into his home office, opened a blank document and started writing.
Initially, Jeff didn’t really plan to write a novel. He didn’t have the entire story sketched out in his head. Jeff knew that he wanted to write a classic hero’s tale. The story grew organically as he started writing about Jim. What was Jeff’s inspiration? You’ll see Star Wars and Stephen King’s Dark Tower 1: The Gunslinger references with a little Highlander thrown in too.
Jeff has always been a fan of podcasts and always wanted to create one of his own. When he discovered that other authors were podcasting their novels, he dusted off This Paper World and decided to do his own podcast. “That was how it started and now I’m addicted!”
Jeff writes novels, novellas and audiobooks. “They’re all in the realm of speculative fiction. I have a hard time categorizing my books. They’re somewhat science fiction. They deal with people with powers or time travel, but they’re also very grounded in the characters, they’re real people.” The closest thing to true science fiction that Jeff has written is his novella Crush Depth, which takes place on a huge submarine. It’s a mermaid/vampire/werewolf tale.
As for marketing, Jeff hangs out in what he calls the “geek pop culture sci-fi realm.” He’s very involved with the podcast community. He narrates for some of the audio fiction podcasts, like Starship Sofa and Tales to Terrify. Because he’s a part of the community, he asks podcasters to play his promos and write blog posts about his work. “It’s all about the social media revolution, getting your name and your product out there.” Jeff also spends a lot of time on Facebook and Twitter making connections.
He tries to make real connections within these communities. It’s give and take. “I’ve met some great people that I’ve never met face-to-face. You form these bonds over the internet. It’s great. Aaron is a great example. He lives in London and I live in the States. We’ve never met face-to-face, yet we have a great collaboration.” - See more at: http://www.justimagineitink.com/this-just-in-blog#sthash.kkYRyOcP.dpuf

Singer Sofia Talvik :
The Swedish singer/songwriter's video was inspired by her recent U.S. tour seen below.Sofia Talvik is happy to bring you the video for her song, "Big Sky Country." The artist was inspired by a year-and-half tour she did, which took her to 37 of the 50 states. That's a lot of life lived, road seen, venues played and people met, so Talvik decided to share what she witnessed with her fans via this video, comprised of clips from her experiences on the road. You can live vicariously through her and ride sidecar with her.
Her album of the same name is out April 28, so let's get to know Sofia Talvik and her "Big Sky Country" now. "Many of the songs from Big Sky Country were inspired by my U.S tour that took me through 37 states in 16 months," the Scandinavian singer told us. "I wrote this song when I was nearing the end of the tour, and I was looking back at all the beautiful places we had visited and all the great people we met along the way. But the song is also about coming home, something I was longing for at the time. I filmed a lot of the tour, making little YouTube video diaries, and the music video for 'Big Sky Country' is put together of clips from the different episodes. It was fun to make because it gave me a chance to re-live the tour a little. It was really a once in a life time experience to drive around the U.S in an old RV for so long." Good news! Sofia Talvik will be back on the road in the U.S. in late summer, so if you dig what you see and hear with this clip, you can see her live and in the flesh. - See more at: http://www.justimagineitink.com/this-just-in-blog#sthash.y0bdPAik.dpuf

Thraxx-UP
THRAXXUP: I’m from Chicago, IL originally. I currently live in Clarksville, Tennessee. I moved down south after my mother realized that Chicago was getting bad. She wanted to provide a better environment for me and my family. I am basically your average joe. I started rapping back in the 5th grade at the lunch table with my friends with pens in their hands hitting beats on the table. I would sing in talent shows, sing Usher, sing in the shower. I fell in love with music. I grew up with music, and I became more in love with lyrics. I also fell in love with the west coast music scene while growing up in the 90’s. Basically I found my first love with music. I want to motivate people through my gift of speaking to a generation of people who want a change. This is my life. I breathe, eat, sleep, and dream music! Rap isn’t a hobby, this is my career and I love what I do. Without music, my heart don’t beat. I want to show the world my side of music. TakeFlight music is cool, calm, and collective. I’m trying to spread my vibe through the world! My songs are about past, present, situations I’m in or the people in my inner circle go thru. My songs tell a piece of me in every aspect from the beat I choose or from the lyrics I spit. Also my songs are about my future goals that I place upon myself or this generation
